Meet Dr. Michael Kim

Dr. Kim’s strong academic foundation began with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, followed by his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Boston University. Driven by a passion for providing specialized care to children, Dr. Kim completed a rigorous two-year pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and Children’s of Alabama. During this time, he gained extensive, hands-on clinical experience managing severe dental trauma cases, handling heavy emergency on-call duties, and performing numerous complex procedures using oral sedation and general anesthesia. To provide truly comprehensive, lifelong care that addresses both dental health and facial growth, he is currently advancing his expertise through a three-year Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Certificate Program at the CTOR Academy.
